My Approach

I am currently pursuing my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from University of North Carolina at Charlotte. My anticipated graduation date is December 2027. I am being supervised by Danielle Hughes, as well as by program supervisors at UNCC.

I believe that life transitions can be difficult, but they can also create opportunities for growth, self-discovery, and developing a new sense of direction. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and valued.

As a counseling student, I take a client-centered approach by meeting clients where they are and recognizing that each person’s experiences and goals are unique. I incorporate cognitive behavioral techniques to help clients explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we can work toward developing greater self-understanding, confidence, and healthier ways of navigating life’s challenges.
